Department of Physics

About the Department :

The department of Physics has started it's course Physics in Sipajhar college from July 2018 to promote science in the society. With 8 students enrolled in the 1st semester in 2018 it has developed to a full-fledged curriculum and now got around 13 students taking physics as major subject and another 18 students taking the pass-course in physics. At present the department is offering the B.Sc. honors as well as the pass-course curriculum in the campus. Within the department, there are 2 class rooms, 2 laboratories (including a dark room) and a small departmental library. The department has also got internet facilities.

Other activities:

  1. Recently 3rd semester students of the department have visited the "Bio-Physics" lab at Pub Kamrup College, Baihata Chariali for an exposure program on 08/11/2019.
